Celebrating 120 years of Catholic education

Nearly 150 alumni, past Hall of Fame honorees, current and former faculty and friends shared memories, fellowship and stories to celebrate the 120-year journey of faith and education of St. Joseph Central High School.  The April 28th event at the Crowne Plaza Hotel included a social hour and dinner, with light jazz provided by the David Bartley quartet.  Showing throughout dinner was a slide presentation compiled by David Lysonski, St. Joseph Class of 1995.

The brief program, with School Board Chair John O'Brien as MC, included remarks from Sisters of St. Joseph President Maxyne Schneider and former Pittsfield City Council President, Kevin Sherman, St. Joseph Class of 1995. A highlight was a video presentation filmed by Frank Busener, with editing assistance by Dave Lysonski. An impromptu rendition of "Memory" from the musical Cats by former faculty member, Mary Ann LaPlante, provided a fitting conclusion to a memorable evening.
